MOSCOW, Mar 11 (PRIME) -- Co-owner of Russian gas producer Novatek Gennady Timchenko will leave the board of directors of the company, Novatek said in a statement on Friday.
The E.U. blacklisted Timchenko at the end of February, sanctions on the businessman were also slapped by the U.K.
There are eight new Novatek board nominees for a vote by the shareholders, and Timchenko is not on the list.
